Leslie Gonzalez is a third-year undergraduate studying History and Environmental Studies at Yale, and an aspiring law student. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Leslie’s passion for social justice and immigration, alongside her family and community’s personal connection to immigration affairs, drew her to Esperanza Law. Outside of classes and Esperanza, Leslie pursues interests in activism, community, and feminism through her involvement in various student organizations, including MEChA de Yale and the Yale Women’s Center — both of which she acts on the board of. In her free time, Leslie is an avid writer, reader, and hiker.
